Being an Alabama-born southern girl means I love my God, my husband and my football. I'm blatantly pro-life and if I had to choose a political affiliation, I'd say I'm a Republican. I believe life is better lived when surrounded by good friends and great family... and in flip flops. I bleed crimson and white for my alma mater, the University of Alabama. I write like I speak: without thinking and overusing "y'all."
I married my best friend on June 4, 2011 and am attempting to document our new life together. We welcomed our first child, Bryson, on June 28, 2012. I am writing this blog as a gift to our children so they will be able to read, firsthand, the journey of our lives as a couple and a family.
