27 weeks. Hello, 3rd trimester!

Not the best picture, but I had to use what I had since tonight we're hanging with Magic Johnson... kinda.

How far along? 27 weeks. Third trimester feels pretty good!

Baby's size: The average baby is approximately 2 pounds (and typically boys are heavier) and 14.4 inches from head to toe.

Total weight gain/loss: With all the Easter candy I've consumed lately, I prefer not to think about it.

Stretch marks? Not yet and I hope that remains.

Sleep? For the most part, I'm sleeping great. I'm ready for busy season to be over so Clay's alarm is set for after 7:00 again, instead of between 3:40 and 5:00.

Best moment this week: Listening to our little guy go nuts on the Doppler for so long. Bryson also got his first Easter gift, which was awesome!

Worst Moment: Spending an hour in the hospital worrying about what was going on with Bryson (click here for story). Oh, and being checked for dilation. I felt like the detectives from Law & Order SVU would show up anytime after being violated like that.

Cravings: Salt & vinegar chips

Symptoms: Outside of a few Braxton Hicks contractions, nada!

Miss Anything? Until I flop on my belly after he's born, that will be my answer.

Movement: He's a wild man- I feel him almost constantly.

Anything making you queasy or sick? Meat. Ick.

Moody: Nope!

Wedding Rings On or Off? On and very comfy.

Sex: All boy.

What is baby up to? His digestive and circulatory systems continue to develop. His little boy organs are in their proper location and his testicles may have already descended into the scrotum (I'm sure he'll love reading this one day). His eyes have been closed since week 9 and are opening again, though they won't properly respond to light just yet. The retina should begin maturing this week, which will soon allow him to receive light and transmit the image to his brain.

Nana and Paw Paw (Clay's parents) got Bryson his very first Easter present. He got a book with singalong CD and this:
