17 weeks!

It's a nasty day out and I'm sick, so primping for a picture wasn't happening. :)
I'm finally big enough from the front for people to know I'm pregnant and not just fat!

How far along? 17 weeks, 1 day

Baby's size: He is approximately 5.1 inches long and weighs about 5.9 ounces

Total weight gain/loss: I'm holding steady at 7 gained

Stretch marks? None so far. I dreamed about them last night though.

Sleep? I'm sleeping okay, but have to get up to tinkle... a lot. B-Man has a favorite toy- a bladder-shaped trampoline.

Maternity clothes? I'm basically wearing all maternity pants now. I'm still good in regular shirts. I got some full-panel active pants the other day and OMG, it's like slipping into Heaven.

Best moment this week: Getting the nursery put together a bit better. Oh, and spending Friday night shopping for Bryson.

Worst Moment: Realizing I have a fever. I'm watching it like a hawk, but it's still low, so I think Bry is okay, but I can't help but worry.

Cravings: I think I could live off green grapes.

Symptoms: Occasional headache and my gums are bleeding when I floss, but other than that, nothing really.

Miss Anything? Breathing normally. I seriously stay winded.

Movement: He's been pretty active this morning, but still isn't big enough for his kicks to show externally. He still feels like a little fish flopping.

Anything making you queasy or sick? Meat. I'm still eating it, but I've had to be creative with mixing it in things.

Sex: Boy! Bryson Reed Stoker

What is baby up to? This week, Bryson's cartilage begins to turn to bone AND he's putting on some weight. (He needs some- did you see those skinny legs?) He can open and close his mouth and even yawn when he's sleepy (I yawned typing that- did you yawn when you read it?)

In other baby news, I finished his name for the above the crib. The letters are still wet in this picture, but you get the idea. We're not doing a theme because well, I'm not a theme girl and I want his room to be able to easily grow with him. Instead, we're doing a color scheme. His room will be navy blue and a medium-gray. I hope to have his crib put together in the coming weeks and have 2 more DIY projects in the works!

  3. It's so strange that you posted about being sick at 17 weeks and so did I this week. So weird! Hope you're feeling better, I still have a horrible cough but am getting there. Had to take 2 days off of work though because I just felt so bad, it's hard being sick and not being able to take anything! Love reading your posts, we are in this together! :)
