26 weeks!

My camera decided to make me pink.  Fabulous.

How far along? 26 weeks and 1 day

Baby's size: Approximately 1.7 pounds and 14 inches long

Total weight gain/loss: As far as I know, still 17 pounds

Stretch marks? Nope. *knock on wood*

Sleep? I wasn't sleeping well due to back and neck pain, but after going to the chiropractor Monday, I'm much better. I slept through the night last night and didn't get up ONCE!

Best moment this week: Clay's friend had a baby this week and he already has a few pairs of Jordans. Clay started rubbing my belly and asking Bryson if he wanted them too. He kicked his hand. Clay's face lit up- I'm pretty sure the hunt for Bryson's MJ's will be on as soon as tax season is over.

Worst Moment: Drawing a blank. I have no complaints!

Cravings: My cravings are back to being suggestive. I went down the aisle that has hot dog chili on it at the grocery store and ended up with all the ingredients for chili dogs. I've done the same with jelly beans. Until I got pregnant, I haven't had jelly beans in years.

Symptoms: Just some round ligament pain.

Miss Anything? Sleeping on my belly.

Movement: Constant. He's pretty low, so if I bend just slightly, I can feel him every time. I feel him most hours of the day and each night, he turns into a wild man. I'm feeling more consistent flutters in my ribs lately too.

Anything making you queasy or sick? Chicken. Gag me. I made chicken marsala the other day, hoping that disguising the chicken in mushrooms and onions would help. Nope. I put one piece in my mouth, chewed it, and spit it out.

Moody: Nope!

Wedding Rings On or Off? On, comfortably. Ask me this when it hits 100 in a month or so.

Sex: Boy, boy, boy.

What is baby up to? He is gaining weight more consistently now. While his brain is still smooth because he doesn't have neural connections yet, it is developing rapidly. In the coming weeks, those connections will form. The nerve pathways in his ears continue to develop- he's definitely showing me he can hear external noises. He jumps at loud noises. Yesterday at lunch, someone dropped something and made a very loud noise. He kicked me VERY hard and didn't settle down until we got back to work. He can now make coordinated movements, like sucking his thumb or even his foot.

In other B-Man news, his nursery is coming together. I'm not showing any of it until we get it done, but I'll show a few pieces.

How jealous are you of my totally matching outfit?

On our trip to IKEA, Heather, Laura and I picked up Bryson's chest of drawers. I was too impatient to wait until busy season was over, so I put it together. Unfortunately I can't the drawers secured by myself, so that's a Clay job.

My friend, Julia, added B's monogram to the diaper stacker for me. I liked it before, but I think his monogram adds a lot to it. She's a genius!

I worked on his room some last night and when I walked out, Jenna took the opportunity to get in her favorite spot. We had to move the recliner in Bryson's room temporarily. It'll eventually go in the man cave when we move, but for now, she thinks we put this here for her.

She even bathes her babies on "her" recliner.
