20 weeks! HALFWAY THERE

Wow, I have a lineman belly button. Eek!

How far along? 20 weeks (and technically 1 day)

Baby's size: At 20 weeks, measurements are no longer from head to booty, but instead head to toe. Bryson is roughly ten inches long! That's a big ol' boy!

Total weight gain/loss: 8 pounds gained, although after last night's meal at the Cheesecake Factory, I'm afraid to weigh.

Stretch marks? Nope, nope. Thank goodness!

Sleep? I'm sleeping a lot better lately *knock on wood*.

Best moment this week: Hitting the halfway mark is amazing. The last few months have flown by and I hope that trend continues... until he gets here. At that point, I want to figure out how to slow down time because the thought of my baby growing up already makes me sad.

Worst Moment: Again, I'm drawing a blank. Maybe when the chalkboard craft I attempted failed. And by failed, I mean the glass shattered and stuck in my finger. Yes, that's totally pregnancy related because it's supposed to be a photo prop.

Cravings: I'm becoming a pregnancy stereotype. I am LOVING ice cream lately. I've never been a big ice cream person, so it's definitely a change for me.

Symptoms: I really don't have much as far as symptoms go. My only real complaint is that I can't breathe! Cleaning the house, working out and even walking to my car from work are exhausting!

Miss Anything? Sleeping on my belly. I'm usually a side sleeper, but I like having the option to change it up and give my hips a break.

Movement: I haven't felt him as much lately and honestly, it freaks me out. I learned last night that I'm not the only one that has those concerns, so I feel much better.

Anything making you queasy or sick? Still just meat.

Moody: Nope, not really.

Wedding Rings On or Off? On

Sex: Boy!

What is baby up to? Little man is practicing breathing and swallowing on a regular basis. He is continuing to grow pretty steadily and his head is becoming more proportional to his body. His skin is becoming more complex. The epidermis (outer layer of skin) has four layers that contain ridges to form fingerprints! For the first time, he has tooth buds under his gums! His stomach, intestines, liver and other abdominal organs are enclosed in the abdominal cavity.
